Vegetables wholesale: Potatoes

The main treasure of the potatoes is starch. It contains albumen, mineral salt, vitamins. Among mineral salt there is a lot of potassium – in 1.5-2 times more than in other vegetables or fruits. Potassium salt increases kidneys activeness and promotes excretion surplus of other salt from the organism.

On the fields of FE “Vladam” in Nikolaev region supper early variety of potato “Minierva” and others are grown. The first entry of potatoes begins from the middle of July and up to the end of September the collection of harvest continues. In autumn potato is laid in the vegetable storehouses and to spring of the next year it is offered to clients.
