Vegetables wholesale: Beetroot

Beetroot is nutrient, highly carbohydrate rootcrop. It is rich on iron, cobalt, manganese, copper and zinc. Many of these microelements are members of ferment regulating hematosis. In the beetroot there is betaine, which has lipotropic effect. It improves liver work and take part in cholesterol exchange regulation.

The first harvest of beetroot on fields of FE “Vladam” we begin to collect in the end of June and to spring of the following year it is present in the vegetable assortment.

On the fields of FE “Vladam” we grow two kinds of beet:
- round, from the seeds of the French Company “Clause” - Nobol, Detroit
- cylindrical – Loma.

Beetroot has high gustatory quality, gentle pulp, it is very sweet. It excellent stores its gustatory quality during the period of storage. It is good to use green and for processing.
